Beechwood bookcase composed by a very smart system.
The column becomes central element as well as the right-hand and left-hand terminals, with a wide range of full and empty spaces.
Each element is self-sufficient as none follow the logics of the system, always needing a complement, but can fit into any environment with a totem’s self-sufficiency.
However, by joining them up, functional and figurative potential is extended as sections of the bookcase are moved by sliding or pivoting, not only parallel to the perimeter of spaces, but moved by changing geometries suggested by the transformation of organic shapes, adapting to a variety of space requirements.
